What an amazing way to celebrate the end of an absolutely insane month for the United Interiors team! We signed a lease and moved into a brand new bricks & mortar showroom last month, and proceeded to paint the walls, install the gallery lighting and dress up the entire space with beautiful paintings, prints, and soft furnishings after getting our hands on the showroom keys. We then made the plunge to curate our own furniture range and home accessories. All the magic happened in literally just 7 days. We’re not joking. Or laughing.
On top of the sheer chaos of moving and opening a new showroom, we also had our Decor + Design trade stand and our Warehouse Sale all occurring within the same week. Despite undertaking 3 massive projects, our sales and production in the studio kept on churning; it was almost like business as usual. (Friends in the interiors industry can relate/sympathise!)
We finally celebrated the official launch of our brand new showroom last Friday with industry friends, family and VIP guests. Despite the shocking Melbourne weather (hey- that’s what you get for opening in the middle of Winter) we had an absolutely fantastic turn out. Thank you all for attending our launch and partying with us. We are so appreciative of all your support in the past few years, and here’s to many more fun interior projects and craziness!
Without further ado, we’ve chosen our favourite party snaps, captured beautifully on camera by our photographer Silvio Kramar.
Our United Artworks collaborators and partners in crime Alisa & Lysandra flew across from Adelaide to check out their A&L gallery wall and celebrate with the team. Lovely floral arrangements by Bespoke Botanics adorned their vignette space and throughout our showroom. (Special thanks to Ange for creating these beautiful blooms!)
After champagne had been flowing, and canapés had been served, we all enjoyed a hilarious welcome speech by our Rugspace collaborator and resident MC James Treble – a very suntanned, jetlagged James after just having returned from 4 weeks in Italy!
Dani Wales celebrated the launch of her Basic Habitat shop-in-shop in style, with her family and friends from The Block (hi Josh & Jenna!). The Basic Habitat decor and accessories sold like hot cakes at our Warehouse Sale and we are very envious of the lucky new owners of the MikMax Barcelona linens – the first sets to ever be released on the world!
Special thanks to Prior’s Catering in Brighton East for the delicious canapés and service, and Nectar & Stone for the stunning desserts, specially created in our navy & blush theme.
Our directors Tony and Marcia & our warehouse boys Steve, JT and Dougie scrubbing up nicely!
Super stylist Emma Blomfield with James Treble & the stylish K-Mode Property Styling team.
James with Richard Misso of The Style Smiths & the lovely ladies from The Design Labb.
One final group picture of the United Interiors team! Cheers to everyone who helped us celebrate in person at the showroom, and to our interstate and international friends that shared the love online. Thanks again for making our [big] dreams a reality.
Our showroom is now open to the public Monday to Saturday!
